Ok, just got my Ksports in.

Rather than guessing at what they should be, and how to set them up (no instructions rule), I figured I'd ask you guys.

I see three adjustments on my DSM kit (http://www.doitbig.org/dsm/new_suspension/). One being the adjuster on the shock body itself, the second will be the adjustment nuts under the spring, and third being the actual damping adjustment.

What adjustment controls ride height? What adjustment controls pre-load? I heard you should set coilovers up with an inch or so of pre-load?

Any basic thoughts or ideas or links would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

 

When I contacted K-Sport about installing them on my WRX, they said the preload was already set and that you should just adjust height from the bottom piece (unless of course you have some reasong to increase the load)

As far as dampening, test drive the setup and find out what works best for you I think you'll be very happy with them, I know I am

 

I'll be putting mine in Friday and I am just gonna follow the setup for the omnis for preload.
