i would like to do a crv/vtec hybrid in a 98 civic ex, i have a 01 b20z with new clutch and fidanza flywheel, i need to get a vtec head...need some advice with this, and also do i need to use a integra tranny? i dont know much sorry if these are stupid questions, but i just need some guidance, and what else would i need to do this...thanx guys

 

well first of all im not sure if you ae saying you are going to boost this motor, and if so id get the b16 head becasue im pretty sure the Z already had high comp, and by buying a gsr head you will raise it. which you dont want if you are going to boost it. so take it as this

boost=b16head
N/A=gsr head

and yes you wll need an b series tranny.


boost=look for a gsr tranny or an ls
N/A=get a b16 or a type R if you can afford it
