ok, need help with Integra sway bar in Crx
Ok I was told you can use the 90-93 integra 22MM sway bar on a Crx, well I tried that and it's a pain in the ***. My question is do I need to get the end links from an Integra? When I tried to put the bar on it is really hard to get the middle brackets on, but when I got them on the bar did not line up with the end links. Any help would be great.

if I remember reading on this topic in the past you're supposed to get the sway bar from and 89 integra 4dr along with the rubber bushings and it should be a straight bolt on affair.
If you got the bushings from the integra sway bar it should bolt on. I have done it twice now. I don't remember the end links not lining up on the first one. The sevond one, we also installed a POLY bushing kit, so it didn't use the Honda end link bolts. I'm pretty sure the first one went on pretty easily though. Sorry I couldn't help more.
Damn....I can confirm that the DA Front sway bar did not work for me either.
So which year do you get the sway bar from?? I would like to change my tiny sway bar in the front too.

ive successfully put the DA front sway bar on my CRX. its actually currently on.
i thought it was kind of odd that it didnt fit nicely either. it was a bitch to get mine on as well. i had more issue with getting the bushings to stay while i clamped the brackets. the endlinks also seemed to be be at an extreme angle, which i think is binding. i hear/feel a slight clunk still, that i must attribute to the sway bar because i fixed my steering rack clunks.
so its possible to fit. youre just not alone in having a tough time making it work.
i guess i was misled that the DA and EF bar were the same configuration, they seem very similar by eyesight. but i guess its just slightly off that makes it such a pain.
i just got a 19mm 4dr front sway bar. i think im going to switch out my 22mm DA and put that in.
although, i do like the increased body roll resistance that the 22mm bar gives

I cut my bushing off (at the flat part ) to get the sucker clamp and bolt. it line up a little off but it's should go in.
For the rear, that is a pain in the butt. Drill holes and bolt, but it's not stiff. I'm going to take it to the shop to get it weld on for extra holdings.

i got the 23mm off the 90-93 integra 4 door and it bolted on just fine. i think there is a trick to make it easier but it's been so long since i've done it that i don't remember. i'll ask my brother and see if he remembers. cause i think when i tried doing it by myself it was a pain in the *** but he told me that there was an easier way and when he came over we had it on in no time.
okay, i called him and got the info. jack your car up and make sure both front tires are off the ground. unbolt your stock front sway bar. when you put the integra sway bar on, make sure the end links are already bolted to the sway bar. and it doesn't matter if it is the civic end links or the integra ones. they are both the same. bolt it to the body first. now this is the part that makes it easy. before you bolt the sway bar to the control arms, lower your car to where there is weight on your front tires and the end links will go right into the control arms. now this is not a perfect fit. but it is close enough and is a good and cheap upgrade. I have it on my car and am very happy with it. hope this helps.
Ok, I got it on. It does take some work and it is all because of the weird mounting bracket that the crx has. And using the urethane mounts makes it even harder. I found that if you bolt it up first but not tight so you can move it back and forth a little, then jack up one side so you can get the end links closer it is a little snug but it worked pretty good, nice tight steering. All for $20.00 and $8.00 for the bushings. You do have to realize that urethane does not give very easy and that is what takes so long. If you bolt the end links first you will not be able to bolt the main mounts.
You know..I am a little worried.
If it is not a good fit then will it affect the response in anyway?
That is what I am worried about right now. I mean you can use force to make anything fit but will it be the same as if it was a perfect fit?
Will it put unnecessary stress on the mounting brackets? will it put unnecessary stress on the endlinks?

I don't think so, once the car in down your ok. It's harder in the air, but the end links go up and down when the car is on the ground. After I but it on, I took it for a hard drive and I did feel the difference. Now all I need is a ST back sway bar and I'll be good to go. I am gonna get the urethane end links to so I'll tell ya how that goes. But really the only think I had to fight was the urethane bushings. If you use the rubber ones you'll be fine. Now if you are really into road racing and don't have a good back sway bar you could get under steer, but that is better then over uh?
i have the 23mm hollow DA front bar and a 22mm mugen rear bar with stock springs and its the best street ride ive had.
ive autocrossed and road raced, and have been through many different setups, ride heights and hardware, but i dont do any of that any more, i just drive to work now with my CRX and i wouldnt want any other suspension.
(actually, im going to test out the 19mm solid 4dr front bar)
