Default My edumacation for the week

Yesterday was our benefit autox, supporting the high school we run in.

I decided I wasn't going to abuse my Ziex street tires. So I go down do the basement grab a set of wheels with tires on them. (Some cheap *** Michelin street tires that are months old.) I figured I'd chuck the tires anyway and run them a couple of times.

I get on the road... drive 2.5 hrs. First run... tires will not grip at all. 44 up front and 36 back and I am driving conservatively. Come in and inspect the tires... hmm that looks like dry rot on all 4. Being the fool I continue running the rest of the day. During fun runs I let the fastest guys drive, they match my time down to the 10th.

So... now I ponder... I lost first by 0.4 seconds to someone I beat 2 weekends back by 2.5 seconds when I was running my Ziexs. Tires... rubber... good stuff... I need a set... but I just can't bring myself to spend any more money on this over weight piece of ****.

Sean who had the daylights scared out of Sean driving home when he drove into a rainstorm where people decided to park their cars on the road with no lights or flashers on.

Sean, who refers to Sean twice in the third person?

What DOES dry rot look like? And can you burn it off?

Fine cracks all over the sidewalls. Happened to the tires on my old Civic that was parked outside in the sun for 4 years. Still had tread left, tires were junk.

Let him drive your car with Ziexs, and the true champion will reign supreme.

The tires are basically junk, once it stops raining I am putting the Ziexs back on.

Its a her actually who I beat 2 weekends back.

Sean who can't justify spending $400 on tires on this piece of ****.
