Honda Challenge Rules - rule modication question???
Question for those that race in H1. Would anyone have a problem with modifying a rule to allow fender flares? The reason I ask is in SCCA E-Production you use slicks and have to have fender flares...note: E-Production cars are slower than H1 cars since the rules don't allow you to do as much to a car. Currently an E-Production prepared car could not run in H1 because those cars have fender flares. Thoughts??? Concerns???
Note: I would be fine limiting the size of tire to something like a 225x45x15 tire for E-Production cars. Also, I have sent an email to whom ever receives the emails for Honda Challenge rules, but have not heard anything back.

hello the proper way to go about a rules request change would be to fill out this form, http://www.hondachallenge.com/HC-Rule-Request.pdf , and send in touch with your regional director to find out who your regions group leader is. They should then send it into the rules committe, whom will then decided to allow the rule change

NASA SoCal is pretty open to cars from other series' coming to over to play. I know that Ryan did assign a class designation to Jonathan Spiegel once when he wanted to fun his F-Prod EF. Don't remember is it got classed in HC or not though. I would just contact your regional director for an exemption rather than push for a global rule change. Especially if its only for a race or two...
well in H1 i know you can run a once peice front end... what rule would stop fender flares... i'm not sure but i dont think its an issue.
