Default CPU Tuning?

I wondering if it´s possible to ship my cpu to the States and have it tuned? That is if they can program it without having the car.
I live in Europe and there isn´t anybody in my country that can tune it properly. I´ve got B16B cams and short ram intake and somebody told me that the cpu should be reprogramed to get the most out of the cams.

If that is true it would be great if you could point out somebody who does these kinds of things

Honestly i wouldnt do it like that cause ive seen several motors go cause they got a modified chip.

Check out PGmfi.org and ask around i know there are some guys over in Europe.. maybe the could help you out.

BTW i say that because u dont wanna trust someones judgement on a motor. cause if there judgement is off just a little bit your motor can blow. You need a wideband to constatly monitor your AFR (air fuel ratio). Also those off the shelf chips like spoon and mugen are all trash IMO cause ive tested both and all they are is chips that lower vtec a little make u run big rich and advance the timing a little bit.

I was not thinking of getting a chip more like Hondata or something similar where the stock computer is reprogrammed to suit the modifications, if I´m reading your post correctly

So to get the most power out of my engine with these mods I need to get Hondata or AEM and have it dyno tuned?

In that case I am ***´ed.

For me, as an foreigner who has no access to Hondata or AEM and only four shops in my country has dyno and no tuning facilities or expertese. I would be forced to buy Mugen or Spoon cpu unless I have the car shipped to the UK or USA to tune it properly?
