Default Bored. Here are some pics of my 97 R.

I lost the original lip to a curb, and it now sports a Comptech lip. I did plan on pianting it, but I bought my JDM front end. New look and paint job coming soon.

Clean, and it looks like you have some sort of a sound system... care to show?

Nothing big. I currently have a complete Alpine type R system- 6.5" components all around, a 12" sub, and 2 amps. I only run that huge 0 guage wire because I had it laying around from my serious car audio days.

Cool car.

How well does that Comptech lip fit & how much drilling does it require?

thanks,
Matt

The comptech lip fits every bit as good as the OEM. It uses tape across the entire top of the lip to adhere to the bumper, and 2 screws on the ends in the wheels wells.

I'm running 0 gauge in the Xterra for boom. My "serious" car audio days were great. Florida state champion in 1998 and 8th at Spring Break Nationals.

Clean RRR, I'm a big fan of the 97's. Are you keeping it CW when you paint it?

Thanks for the compliments. I am slapping the JDM front end on along with the JDM 16" wheels, and respraying the whole car with a fresh coat of CW paint.
