help on civic hatch vx with jdm b18b swap. question state ref smog
im doing a obd1 jdm b18b swap into my civic vx hatch soon. i know imma be chaning out the harness to usdm and usdm ecu. i know the intake manifold doesnt have the hole for the purge but the vx already has the stock one on the firewall. can i get away with state ref with the vx purge on the firewall or do i need the evap purge on the intake manifold?

The best way to <FONT COLOR="red">SMOG</FONT> your ride is the legal way! We legally pass the vehicles using CNG/LPG/propane gas. The vehicles are slightly modified and passed on propane, and then, upon the owners discretion, changed back to regular pump gasoline, there are no permanent modifications done to the vehicle, the turnaround is about 4-6 hours.

ANYWHO...
Evap Purge can be the one for the VX - my friend said he has done one in the past just like your setup and the ref didn't say anything.
