i just purchased a 94 Legend with the type II engine in it. it has 130k miles and has never had the timing belt changed. this obviously needs to be changed very soon. i've done timing belts on integra's and miata's before, but never on a V6.

anyone have some feedback on how difficult a task this may be? anything other than the usual water pump that should be changed at the same time?

 

go to http://www.acura-legend.com there is a DIY section and i believe they have a TB/WP tutorial on this.

are u sure that the TB was never replaced. factory recommends every 60k miles so maybe it was replaced before 120k.
