Default Finally we ran 9s with our Eg

NHRA final POMONA 9.90 at 146mph

Set up as follow
83mm sleeved type r by Benson, cp 9 to 1 pistons, Manley rods, supertech valves oversize, valve springs and retainer. full race top mount manifold 4" downpipe and 4" exhaust, GT40r turbo, custom 3 inch IC piping and precision 750hp intercooler. 30psi hondata the car made 696whp and 512tq with. Stock type R head unported just 3 angles valve job and over size supertech valves. victor x manifold ported match to throtle body 70mm.

Those are DV/DT Engineering motor mounts. They've just recently been completed for EG's and EK's, and are now for sale to the public through Sportcar Motion. PM The Tea Father for pricing and product info

Very clean car, saw it at BOTI a few weeks ago

Can't seem to tell by the pics, but are you running the lower tq mounts? I kept breaking axles on my old car, i think one of the main reasons was because i didn't have the torque mounts on. When i put some on with Jimfab mounts ALOT of my wheelhop went away and no more broken axles.

looks good! great times, i like how clean the engine bay is.. and the valve cover looks good plain like that without the lettering.. might have to do that

the car has very little wheel hop, the dvdt mounts are stiffer than even the hasports, so the front mounts arent needed the axle problem is mainly from laucnhing high with the exedy twindisk clutch, launching lower helps alot.

wow I love how you did the fuel pump..where is the pickup located? does the fuel tank have to be close to full so it doesnt starve the pump?

Me to... How is it setup.. how is your pump gettin fuel? I was going to put a sump in my oem fuel tank. But im kind of iffy with it hanging so low to the ground.
