enkei rims for 90 crx
anyone here know what size of tire I need to fit my enkei rp-01 rims 17x7 with a 40mm offset.
They're a bit on the big side but i'm hoping that I can put a 45 profile tire on it so it will give me some cushioning and not damage my rims when I hit a bump.
My factory tires are 185/60/r14's.
my friend was saying that I could likely put on 205/45/r17's and that my ideal tire would be 205/35/r17's
suggestions?

that shouldn't be a problem to get that size. would a 40mm offset on the rim make my car handle weird? My car is using stock rims and the suspension is pretty much stock with the exception of a eibach pro lowering kit (1.5" drop if I remember correctly).
I'm hoping that with the 205/40/r17 that my newly purchased rims/tire combo will be a straight bolt on affair.
Thanks
