2002 Honda Civic LX engine swap
golden eagle has done it for a sleeved down 1.5 l b16 for the bonneville salt flat runs and set speed records. the main problem with doing the b16 swap is that it is illegal to put a older engine into a newer car. finding mounts for the b16 swap will also be hard since it is just as cheap to put a k20 into a em2 or em3 civic. why not just do a k20a2 swap? they are a very light engine for being 2.0 litre too. i believe they are lighter than the 1.8 litre gsr and type r engines.
also:
mounts are available for k series swaps on hasport.com
k20a2 2,800.00
em2/3 mounts 750.00 bucks new
another 1000 - 2000 bucks and you should be in business.
the k20 is a newer more powerful and more reliable platform.

o btw why would u put a b16 in your car? k20 is a perfect fit, better to have something with less miles on the motor, not a beaten b series motor.
