Fixing "Mileage" on JDM Cluster
My original cluster's is broken so I had to buy a JDM cluster.
I would like to know what the easiest way is to put more kilometers on the JDM cluster so it becomes the same as how many miles I had on the "original" cluster. Any suggestions? And dont say drive because that defeats the purpose.

It never really broke, I just said that to simplify the question. I bought the car without the original interior and a rebuild title from a guy who didnt exactly disclose everything about the car. I got a good deal on the car so I didnt really care. It had a GSR cluster with indiglo stickers and stuff and he had cut certain wires so that the SRS and ABS lights wouldnt go on. In order to repair the car we needed to read the ABS codes to figure it out. So I ordered a JDM cluster and was able to read the codes and fix the problems and have a nice looking cluster. The only problem is that the mileage is innacurate to what the title and insurance etc says (the other clusters mileage is probly bullshit too, but red tape is red tape). I'm just trying to convert the mileage into km's and then adjust the JDM cluster to be accurate.

If it has a GSR cluster in it, than the mileage is already incorrect. If it's a rebuilt title, it doesn't really matter, but since you asked; it's the same procedure as rolling back the mileage in which you take apart the cluster and experiment. I would try it on the crap cluster first before ruining the JDM one.

take the speedo out, and then take the miles wheel off the two tabs.. then snap it back in.. 15 mins tops. no drill needed

Take the speedo out. Use two small screwdrivers to then do the following:
1.) Hold the metal tabs to prevent the digits from moving up and out of the way
2.) Use the other screwdriver to move the digits.
Should work. Otherwise, at the very least just take the speedometer out. You should be able to figure out something from there.
