i am trying to put my vibrant header on my b18c in a del sol. before, i had a b16 with stock header, and everything lined up. but the holes on the vibrant flange are farther apart than what is on the cat (test pipe). any one have the same problem? i am trying to find a stainless flange that matches up, and cut the flange off the cat and weld the new on on. dont know what to do or where to get the flange. thanks.

 

i bought that header for my brother and it was the same way, i hate to be the one to break this to you but, that header sucks, not cause of the holes not lining up, ive been told the welds on the inside suck so gains are not that good, even though the header looks great on the outside, dont worry i feel ripped off too, but oh well.

 

I just read your sig and i noticed youre from IL, hahah, i used to live there and i actually got the header from IL, where did you buy it from?

 

i think it matches up to an integra flange? what did you do to get it on? i got the header from garage kwai. i asked them and one 6 what header they recomended for good ground clearance. they both said the vibrant 4-2-1. good clearance, 2.5" collector and 304 stainless. it is better than a dc, and i needed one anyways because the b16 doesnt fit correctly. thanks.

 

you'll probably need the jdm flange to have everything line up correctly

 

buy the vibrant install kit with flange and gasket, it cost me like $60 CDN, flange is 100% stainless and you can retain the oem spring bolts.

 

the jdm flange does not adjust where the bolt holes are.

 

i figured it out. i gues i need to buy the vibrant flange and weld it on my cat (meow). thats gay. why didnt they make it fit in the first place? i dont understand.
