I recently changed my clutch and flywheel out for an exedy full face with heavyduty pressure plate and an exedy 9.1 pund flywheel. Now when the car is high up in revs it will make a resonant metallic sound. It only makes the noise under a load, because I jacked the car up and revved it and heard nothing. If you have any input that might be helpful I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

 

did you do the work yourself? did you have the flywheel checked to make sure that it is perfectly flat?

 

I did do the work my self, but no I didnt have it checked. When i ran the car on stands it made no noises at all. As soon as I put it back down and drove it it did the same thing.

 

resurface the flywheel maybe?

 

It is brand new
