Looking for some input on the best springs for a 05 civic. Mainly looking for the How it rides. Looking for the closes feel to stock.

bump for same question, im about to get the tanabee df210 lowering springs tommorow...
car is brand new (1 week old) so im hoping the stock shocks last until i can buy some aftermarket ones

 

i take it that you dont want a sportier/stiffer feeling?

if that is so, i suggest you just cut your springs.

oh yeah, this isnt the best way, but for you, it'll work. you will have a soft ride and your car will be lowered. higher rates lower body roll, but if u go to high, you will end up losing traction. i dont feel like going into it, but there should be lowering springs with soft rates.

i do want the sportier feelings, reason being i am used to driving my lowered 93 civic, and now that i drive a 2005 civic at stock height i feel likeim driving a minivan or pickup truck with all the body roll and nose lunging etcc...i just cant take it it doesnt feel right...especially that the newer civics are kinda bigger and im guesing heavier....i need a drop asap...

 

the universal answer to anybody buyin a new susp set-up is always going to be gc/koni or tein/koni or whatever its basically just goes off preference. make your own preference. i have gc/koni and couldnt be happier because i ride close to like stock and yet still handle like a go-cart
