At first, your bottom radiator should be cold
then as your car heats up, the coolant should flow and then the bottom hose should get very hot
when this happens your radiator works

actually your radiator has nothing to do with that.
its your water pump and your thermostate.
the bottom hose doesnt get hot until the thermostate opens up.
if the thermostate works,and the bottom hose still isnt getting hot, its most likey the waterpump going out.
