changing oil type?

ive heard its not good for an engine to change from one type of oil to another. ever since i bought my integra ive been using 5w 30 valvoline oil. now, 30k later, will there be any negative effects if i switch to mobil 1 synthetic? TIA.

not really... just dont keep changing the brands of oil... stick with one brand...

Don't go from regualr to Synthetic to regular again and vise versa

gotcha. my main concern was changing it from regular to synthetic with 130k on the engine.
