see what you can get.. ur probably going to go with an LS or RS.. unless you find a cheap GSR. see what you can get thats in good cond, and around 100k miles? or less? try and get a stock 94 or 95 ls for less than 5,000, and use the extra money to do w/e you want to it.

i say be patient. try to look for a good deal. don't fall for modified vehicles, unless it's just intake and a set of nice wheels. i picked up my 95 gsr for 5600. So, if you look well enough you could pick up a gsr. But, I have no doubts that you'll be able to find an LS, RS, or GS model.

yep. try to get a gsr. but since the demand for these cars are huge, most fucksticks are asking WAY too much for them. you probably have to settle for a LS if you want a car in good condition with less than 100k miles.

$5g's? hmmmm get yourself a GSR, you could find GSR's for around that price or maybe less... you could get yourself a good condition LS for around $2000-3000... I picked up my 94 GSR a little over a year ago for $3600 with 105k miles on it.... i got a pretty good deal...

your probably looking at a ls or rs model for that price. no matter what integras imo are the best platform to use as your first car. they come with disc brakes all around, decent power with more potential for more power, and they look bad-***. good luck in your search!

ya i paid alittle over 3grand for my 91 ls. i was really surprized how well it could keep up with alot of the 94 to 97 model cars esp after just the intake and cat back

just dont rush and jump into the first couple of cars you see...Wait, look around, look hard..I picked up 98 gsr in very good condition in march this year for $5000...So, just be patient and you will get a good deal. It may not be a gsr, but shoot for it, If you miss you may land on a ls...lol

IMO, I would get a second gen integra 90-93
There not as prone to be stolen, we must face the facts

I would get an ls, and then go boost,

Because this is your first car, no need to get something like a gsr,
90% of drivers will crash in their first year of driving.

Not saying you cant drive, but your not the only on one the road

But hey, its up to you

Edit: you want a 94+, yeah get an ls, boost, Full coverage too

Example: I just picked up this 90 integra rs for only $650 cash
Only needs a tranny wich I found one for 200 mint
This means you'd have 4K+ for mods etc...

Point, Wait for a decent deal

Yea, you got a good deal on the GSR, but that's about what LS/RS and GSR's sell for here in VA. Expect to pay around 5k for a 94-96 GSR with lower miles (110k or so). Make sure it has had all the routine service maintenance done to it to save you from having to fork out extra cash.

yea dude unless your a grandma when it comes to driving your gonna smash your car up a bit. id grab a 90-93 LS and put the rest in a savings account, work your *** off and pick up a 94+ hatch after about a year or so of driving. I live out in cali and wrecked my first car (pontiac bonneville got t-boned) and did the same to my teg, although i repaired it. you learn your lessons pretty quick and its better to learn them in a beater. You can be the best driver out there and still get fucked. plus whos to say you cant have fun in a beater . just get a stick and some trays from your local fast food joint

holy ****. ive never seen ANY gsr near me for less than 5500, no matter how many miles are on it. unless they are a POS or have a salvage title. this is why i have stopped looking for one at the moment, not because i dont want one, but because ******* ******** take advantage of the whole "theres a sucker born every minute" thing. dealerships even rape people; there was a car identical to mine at a local dealership; after i bought my car i just went to see how much they wanted:

dealership car

93 2 door GS
blue
102,000 miles
stock cd player
moonroof
clean, except for rust on both quarter panels

my car (when i bought it)

92 blue GS
blue
103,000 miles
new sony xplod with infinity speakers
moonroof
mint interior, no rust/dents.

douchebag at the dealership: "5,000; were not gonna move with the price, its got a new radiator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

i bought my car for 3400. havent had a single problem with it for the 20 months ive owned it. bastards. the car sat there, front row at the dealership for over 2 months before somebody stupid enough bought it.

pretty much same **** with gsrs; just let it sit until somebody is desperate or has money to blow.

A GS-R going less than 5000 is either gonna have some problems, or a gang of miles. Although if you find one, I'd jump on it.

Yea no kiddin. I live in Chicago and I've been trying to find a DC2 at the dealerships. Cheapest one I saw, 97' 11,459 with 71k miles. Around here thats not bad but too steep for a college student like myself. DC4s, 14,000 for one with lower miles and as low as 4800 for something with a shitload of miles. However, I found a DC2 recently, 98' 9,900 with 86k miles, Im gonna go check it out tomorrow.

Eh, not always

Today I saw two adults 40+ driving gsr's

And I have seen twice to old people driving gsr's

and then there are plenty normal people driving ls, rs etc...

Oh and I saw some mother and daughter driving a new Civic si hatch,
I was like, "If they only knew "
