little black vent under car anyone know what it does?
I have a 97 civic hatch with a 98 ls swap with obd1 convert etc. Whenever i do a cold start i can hear this loud blowing sound coming from under the car. One day i had the car jacked up on stands and started it and found out it was coming from a little vent under the car. Once the car is wamred up "5 minutes" it'll idle normal again no sound. I did a search and someone said my idle air valve could be bad. So i changed it and fired her up it still does it. I was wondering if anyone know what my problem is or know how to solve. thanks

"Under the car" is a pretty large area, care to narrow down the location a little. A pic would be good.
