Default How experienced is DynoSpotRacing in MV with tuning the Hondata?

I plan on taking my LSVTEC there to get dynotuned and wondering if any of you with all motor B18Cs and/or hybrids know if they are well experienced with the Hondata and tuning it? Only thing I don't like about them is that they charge an arm and a leg to tune $185/hr. Are there any dyno shops in the bay that have ample experience tuning the Hondata and are cheaper? Please let me know. TIA for your replies.

Dynospot or Lawrence for that matter is extreamly experienced in tuning Hondata systems or any stand alone or jumper system for that matter.
DSR has done tons of these unit as well as custom tuning and installing units for other types of cars. Its amazing to see the results when Lawrence tunes people's cars when they are messed up or need tuning.
Yeah DynoSpot is expensive, however you get what you pay for. Their is no other shop in NorCal for that matter that can tune like this. Most shops will end up messing up your car.
But anyway, yeah Dynospot will do a good job. Just stop by and ask to see some results he has gotten on similiar cars with similiar setups to you and I promise you will be impressed. Oh yeah, they will also help you out with issues on parts not working right or different routes that they recommend you to take to get the best proven results. Heck just look at Lawrence's own drag car. mid-11sec all motor GSR with still tons room for improvment.

To my knowlange their is not one Honda customer thats felt that DSR or Lawrence hasn't tuned the car correctly and has gotten better tuning results from elsewhere. With the setup that DSR has and all the experience and knowlage the employee's have, they are sure to be the best best.

Oh yeah and as for an LSVTEC setup, Lawrence is in the process or just finished doing a full LSVTEC engine for a customer last week. LSVTEC's are a common setup that come to DSR for some tuning.

Agreed. Lawrence met me last night at 8:30pm to give me my Hondata system, one of the very few people that I would trust tuning my car. Nice guy, and he knows what he's doing. The car should be tuned within 1-1.5 hours.

LOL Austin, you got rid of your Power FC and your Spec B's? Don't tell me you're gonna take the Hytech off too.

HyTech comes off too ... but just to have it sent out to have John make some modifications and to have it coated by HPC.
