LCA Problems & GC Install Questions
1990 Honda Civic Hatchback SI with GC Coil-ovre kit, Eibach Springs, and Koni Sports (yellow's).
- LCA bolt seized and removed with the help of a grinder, which now requires me to replace the bushing. I THOUGHT that wouldn't be a problem since I've got a Prothane kit, but the metal sleeve in the LCA won't budge. I'm looking for guidance before I buy new LCA's. Thanks!
- Dust boot, use it or loose it? The instructions say to cut it down to 1", but what's that really going to do?
- Setup. Any suggestions on shock location? The koni's have that snap ring and three places in which to adjust the height. The car is used as a daily driver and auto-x.
Oh, BTW, I bought my stuff from a shop in PA, http://www.redshiftmotorsports.com. Good people there.
Thanks!
