Default VAFC or FPR to tune cams?

i was planning on getting a new valve train along w/ some nice cam shafts. the only question is i don't really have the money to conver to obd 1 and get hondata right now. i was curious which would be best to tune the cams w/ in the mean time.. would a vafc work the best or a fpr or both? i've never really gotten into this that much and i'm curious of what to do when i do get the cam shafts..

Do you already own the V-AFC? If not, the cost of putting together an Uberdata setup would be very similar, and the result would be a much more tunable system.

If you car is OBD0, look into check out Turbo Edit, Ghetto Dyne, or BRE. Visit PGMFI.org for more information.

Ghettodyne hasnt been supported for like 2 years. If you are going to do obd0 vtec stuff use BRE. If you are going to do obd0 non vtec stuff use turbo edit.

BRE has its own forum on pgmfi and the link was in one of the stickied threads in the forum. But you can download it here:
