Yeah i believe that Garlits, Amato and a few others i cant remember right now have all damaged their eyes from the g-force these cars pull wich is why they can no longer race. I dont know for sure but it somehow pulls the muscle around your eyes out and after so many passes the muscle wont go back tight into the eye socket.

 

Bernstein and a few others had to get their eye sockets sewn back together from all the g's of deceleration. Top fuel is no joke.

 

that sounds like boxers who, after a lifetime of getting beaten in the head, sound like a drunken bum when they talk becuase it gives them brain damage.

Funny car broke a mph record when the rear spoiler collapsed on the top end. Forgot who broke it though.

i was watching when he broke the new record , although he didnt do another high mph run to back it , its still very fast , nothin but respect for top fuel that **** is insane!
