95 GSR 4d - Front Passenger Window Won't Roll Down?
My windows worked perfectly last night but this morning the front passenger side window is not functioning at all. The motor doesn't sound like it's trying to engage, it simply isn't getting any juice.
I talked to an Acura Tech and he said that it's probably the Regulator/Motor Assy. inside the door that is failing, and that is a combination piece.
Brand new, I guess it's $380 at the dealer. I called the local used shop and they have 3 assy's in stock at $125/ea.
Since I'm a cheap ***, I wanted to ask if the problem could be anything else. I am going to remove my door panel and test the thing tonight with a multimeter.
Any help is appreciated all. Thank you!

try puttin power directly to the motor on the window , they have a window control box that goes bad inside the left front door - check that if your motor goes up with direct power
My car is doing that too. You need to just lube the window tracks. The motor more than likely isn't bad. It just doesn't make any noise because it isn't moving. Don't worry about it. I haven't been able to roll my window down on the passenger side for like a month. Just use some good lube, or it will do it again soon.
Dr. Cortez - How do I provide the window motor direct power?
Thanks to both of you so far for the help. I will have the thing apart shortly so I can get to the bottom of it!

my passenger is really slow, does oiling it work? also, is your driver side window real noisy when it is halfway down? mine is really crickety!!!
I replaced the window on my old Prelude when someone decided it would be sweet to throw a rock thru it and ransack my car. What I learned is that the rattly window should likely be cured if you pop off your door panel and tignten up the bolt that actually goes thru the glass to hold it in place. I have a feeling that just gets really loose, esp. on the integras with no upper door moulding, just the window and the seal. That is what I will be doing tonight! TIGHTEN' it up

My pass. window has been doing that to... it starts to go down, gets to about 1/4 of the way down and then stalls until I play with the switch (up and little... down a little... up and little and then all the way down). Do I need to remove the door panel to lube the tracks or is it possible to just spray some WD40 down there while the window is down??
dont use WD-40.. that stuff is too light.. eventually (in about a week).. it will attract dust/dirt.. and get slow again.. how do i kno? i tried it.. OK this sounds wierd.. but here is what i used.. Armor All.. yes the stuff you use to clean your dash and interior..
one day i was at a LONG stoplight.. i noticed some dust on my dash.. so i took my hand and rubbed it on the dash to attempt to get the dust off.. then i realized even though the dash was dusty/dirty.. it still felt smooth/slippery...
i cleaned my window inside and out w/ glass cleaner.. then rolled the power window down ... i sprayed a cotton cloth liberally w/ armor all.. then rubbed the cloth applying the armor all on all the black weather stripping parts where the black rubber/plastic weather stripping contacts the glass... then i rolled the windows up and they were FAST again... man i was surprised..
i've heard you can also use some spray lubricant.. but since i buy armor all all the time.. i just use that.. i havent had problems w/ cracking or whatever.. been using this armor all trick for 2 years..
what annoyed me about the slow windows other than that they were slow as hell... was because my alarm rolls up the windows when i arm the alarm.. since the windows were slow/kind of stuck.. when the windows module felt resistance/more current draw.. it thought the windows were all the way up.. when they werent..
anyway the armor all works great..

If anyone is interested; I fixed the problem... 5 minutes! haha...
The plug simply fell out, which was quite evident when I took off the door panel. I figured it was something stupidly easy like that because it never showed signs of being broken before, you know?
Thanks to everyone for the help!
