ok my oil pressure gauge reads fine til it hits about 80psi then the gauge jumps down to 60psi and holds for awhile til i decelerate and i achive under 60psi around 4krpm and then i can accelerate again and pressure can go up to at 79psi and stay there if i hold RPM but once it hits 80psi on the gauge it jumps back to 60psi.
normal daily driving it can move from 20psi to 79 psi depending on rpm before vtec engagement which is 4500rpm, so i know i got great oil pressure. if i'm in vtec it falls to 60psi
its a brand new mechanical 0-100psi autometer oil psi gauge and i checked for kinks or leaks and i have none no whats the issue anyone else had this problem? btw i tapped the head for the gauge using brass fittings teflon taped and nylon tube feed to the gauge.

title mispelled "weird" lol
edit* disregard post i know my answer.
b16 motor, i have a fram filter which makes 10-15psi less then honda oem filters or hamps. also it drops back to 69-70psi from 80 not 60psi as i stated above. forgot about vtec pressure drop.
