suspension set up with a wheelie bar added to CRX..
Can anybody help...? I was wondering what lbs springs in the rear are most CRX's using with the addition of wheelie bars???
I was using 1,000 lbs springs without the wheelie bars.....and when I added the wheelie bars....the car was going all over the track......
Please share your suspension set up for the rear.
Thanks.

I am assuming this is a drag only application.
The idea with wheelie bars is to have the rear springs be pretty light and the wheelie bars sitting just slightly off the ground at static. Once the car begins to weight transfer to the rear at launch, the year end sits down a bit and the wheelie bars touch, thus nearly instantly giving you a much longer wheelbase and making it harder for weight to transfer off your nose and keeping the grip up there.
I don't have a specific number for rear rate but you might start in the 300ish range. Much depends on the car itself, how hard it launches and weight transfers, etc. This is a developmental thing to get the wheelie bars working properly and setting the rear spring rates. The softer rear spring should make the car muich more drivable at the high speed end of the track which often are not the smoothest pavement around.
