clutch release noise. help!
yo, sometimes when i release the clutch pedal into 1st 2nd and rarely in 3rd, I hear a wierd belt slipping type sound. it happens i think more when it's wet out. I would be more worried about it if it happend all the time. but it happens right as it's being engaged and if i keep my foot right at the point where the noise happens, the noise will drag out for a while. sounds shitty, but it works fine I'm just getting embarrassed at stop lights and going slow up hill.

Remove your accessory belts just to diagnose for one trip around the block.

Do you mean i should check the tension or like for checking the pully berrings and stuff cuz it's not my belts, it just sounds like a belt slip?
