us itr header + jdm itr catback = what kind of cat to use???
I have a 01 type r and i currently have a jdm 4-1 header, smsp cat, and a t1r catback. I am trying to go back to stock but it is next to impossible to find a US itr catback.
I see alot of the jdm catback selling on sites, so i was thinkin about goin that route. My problem is, I want to have everything else stock and put on the jdm catback.
Bascially,
OEM US itr header + (what kind of cat) = bolt up to jdm itr catback?
Do I use the us cat or my 17inch smsp cat? I dont want to order the jdm catback and get stuck with buying a custom made cat. I just need to know what size cat or if my SMSP or oem cat will bolt up. thanks

im pretty sure you know that the flanges are backwards from US to JPN exhausts and headers so youll need a cat that is the length of a JPN cat with the flange the US direction. you could get a JPN cat and have a muffler shop reverse the flange.
