Hi,

I have a 1991 CRX Si that I have used as my daily driver for the past couple of years. It has 132K miles, but is in basically very good shape. I've thought about selling it (and may still do so) as there is a LOT of interest in it here in SoCal. But when I think about selling it and buying something else, I always come up with the idea of making the car a project and putting the $$ I would spend on a newer car into returning this one to a pristine state.

I would like to find some enthusiasts here in L.A. -- there MUST be tons of them, and locate shops where I could get work done. My idea would be take the car back to a real new-car state, or something close. Nothing radical. New paint, clean up the rust on the sunroof or replace it with something aftermarket. Maybe some tasteful suspension upgrades and mild tuning of the engine.

Can anyone in the LA area make some recommendations.
