Superglue on car paint.
Heat will loosen superglue so park it in the sun or use a hot hair dryer and naptha (lighter fluid) or acetone...............well ....be carefull with the acetone.
Acetone will dissolve it, but very slowly. I am not sure what acetone will do to a paint surface, but I doubt it will hurt. Try it under the trunk lid first and see if anything happens...Let it sit for a while. Make sure after you get it off, regardless of what you use, that you re-wax the area.
Sanding (wet sanding) is fairly common in car detailing with 4,000 grit sand paper, but is definitely not the solution to this problem.

Hobbiests who use Superglue in constructing Remote Piloted Vehicles (R/C) have for years been using a product which removes excess Superglue from stuck fingers and other unspecified body parts. It's called a debonder and it's marketed by several US companies. It's available at most local hobby shops.

I am a "hobbiest". I fly radio control aircraft and have the debonder that you speak of. It's about $2 at a hobbdy store...I guess if you don't have acetone or something like that around (most people don't) the debonder is the cheapest thing to buy. I should have thought of that!
