Default Will JDM P73 pistons pass emission's

Well I want to put them in and i know they raise compression to 11.1 so with stock cams and ECU and everything else stock will it pass or not.

just wondering.. why would you go through all that hassle just to raise compression half a point?
just shave the head or go thin headgasket.

i apologize if you don't drive an ITR. but if you do, it's a waste IMO.

oh, and you'll probably pass emissions w/ only a half point increase.


{edit} duh! I see your name has 99si in it. I didn't mean to come off rough on you. I'm assuming you're building a 1.8 block?
You know ITR pistons lower your compression in a B16 block, right?

yes I know that ITR pistons will drop my compression to like 10.0.1 or so but I am putting a B18C5 in my SI and well i just want a little more compression and I like the sound of balanced and I can get them for under 3 bills so what the hell. Thanks for the feedback now I can order them and put them in along with the motor.
