Default Funky Starts

Ever since my engine swap (B16A) my car has trouble starting if its warm. If I start it cold its fine but I its been runing for a while and I try to start it while its still warm, it almost always struggles to start. This also happens when its been sitting in the sun for a while even if I havent been driving it.

I know it sounds like the main relay overheating but I checked it and resoldered it and ran thru the test procedure in the helm to make sure its ok. What else could it be?

can you hear the solenoid turning the flywheel on the starter? if not check the starter, ur starter might be going bad. if the starter is good.....check the wiring from the batter to the starter, and the ground too, if not that, check your spark plugs, if spark plugs are good, check to see if you have spark....take out a spark plug and put it in the spark plug wire, and turn the key about twice to see if you have spark. checkin all of these should eventually get ya to the prob but i think its something with ur starter

I have spark. the engine runs fine once its started. I can hear the starter turning over and so i dont think its bad and the wiring is fine. My plugs look fine. I might pull the dist cap off and see if there is moisture in there but that wounldnt make much sense so im still pretty much stumped.

I had a 91 hatch d15 16v and it didn't always turnover if half warmed up. The dealer replaced a module and it worked fine. Now my b18b does this bad starter type thing also. It did this, ran fine for a few months, did this, ran some more.

Can I replace all these modules so I don't have to worry about them?

What ever happened to this car?
