Default emissions!!

won't pass emissions.. i tried 6 times and have failed .... i have a 99 civic cx hatch with a 01 itr swap with a chipped p28 ecu... Nox was 2 times the limit.... clipped j1 harness in the ecu to put it to stock.... i replaced the cat ..... but the emissions repair people said the cat was not warming up and catching the gases.... also have a p73 that i haven't put in cuz i still failed with it....

any ideas? i'm in northern virginia btw... and i hate the earth... screw the tree huggers!

i'm desperate people... help me please... or i'm gonna have to dump the car

Try the Hybrid forums for better answers but ...

I can't imagine how a performance "chipped" ECU will help pass emissions. That's just silly. Slap the P73 on, the new cat and cross your fingers.
