Make sure to check these wheels really well. I bought a set of 16" Volk Gramlights from DORBY (Alex) and one wheel was bent. He swears he did not know and even offered to compensate me $150, but when I said I wanted enough for a new rim or close to it, he pulled a disappearing act. He no longer answers his emails, pm's, or phone calls from me. But, it is all good. My uncle (a lawyer) is getting all the paperwork filled out and is filing a suit in small claims to get a full refund. In addition, we are suing for the price of shipping the wheels back to him (which are currently in trust with a neutral 3rd party (another lawyer), and of course court costs. So, if he continues to not want to own up to his responsibilities and play a disappearing act, it will be an easy win in court.

I will in no way call Alex a scammer, because he did send me the product he advertised, but it was clearly not in the stated condition. And for this reason, I would be weary of dealing with him. Just a heads up for other HT members.

bumpp...thanks for bumping my thread, as for Ek2000, I put thought into it and you sent me pics of the wheels on ur car...how do u know u didnt bend it.....but thats just a thought, when i had the wheels i never noticed a bend or anything...i can get the whole tuner community in Miami to vouch for me...thank you

 

I will vouch for you man those wheels are hot I'd buy them right now but I just got new wheels but good luck in selling them Bump for a great Seller and bro thats what happens when you buy used **** it sux I know but you never know what your gonna get

Maybe his HX's are in the stated condition, but I would urge anyone that can't go see the rims in person to be very wary of this seller.

Damn, just another one of Alex's lies then. It is funny that he told me that he bought the rims NEW. And as for being cheap, I paid over $1100 dollars for those wheels and if I had known that one was bent I would have passed on the deal.
I understand that when buying used, you have to expect some flaws, but I am not worried about the little knicks from rock chips or little chip of the paint; only about the bend.

In the past year or so I have bought quite a few used and new sets of rims here on Honda-Tech with no problems whatsoever. This transaction is the only one that came with a major flaw that was not disclosed.

These are just some of the wheels that I have bought off of honest Honda-Tech sellers. Maybe Alex has done good deals int he past, but in this case he has done me wrong. And that sad part is, he has the opportunity to clear this up, but will not.

 

What size tires are those?

Yeah, the more I find out about his story the more I believe he knew all along. His friend says that he bought them used off another person; yet he told me when I inquired that they were only a couple of months old and he had bought them Brand New from a shop in Miami. Either way,
