they are backordered until sometime in April. Im sure my tires will hold up until then. Are these tires really worth the wait or should i just go ahead and get some Kuhmos.

this is a true choice of preference.

S03's will do better in rain....but the azenis i think will do better in dry.

 

It's a true choice of $$...S-03s cost more than TWICE as much per wheel... I say if you are going to get high performance tires and beat the crap out of them at an autox or track event, you should get something that is easily replacable. If you just want street tires, maybe you can afford to get S-03s.

 

ok its a matter of preference. But the poor guy is probably gonna ride on steel belts until april. Thats when the first people who put their order will get theres. I think theres people on this board who ordered them in November. Who is to say when he will get his? For that alone I wouldnt wait for azenis...they are not that good ....still a street tire.

 

fyi there is a shop here in san diego who has a lot in stock i ordered some 14" from the shop and he had them the next day

 

Get the azenis, they are way worth it.

 

try discount tires (retail store) I ordered it there and they were able to get it in the next day. This is for 205/50/15's

 

when did you order yours? I am looking for the 205/50/15, the discount store close to me is who told me that they are bo til sometime in april. This same shop also told me they were discontinued .

tirerack.com has S03 in 195/50r15 for around $75 each..... not bad, and that size is almosta 205/50r15 compared to other brands/models...

azenis if you do trackdays/roadracingschools.... they will NOT chunk like a new S03 will.
