Default I pulled this out of my throdle Body! NO JOKE!

ok, i was driving and took a left hand turn and put it to the floor to get up to speed, let off the gass when i his about 60 and shifted into 5th and WAM mt RMPs went WAY up to my rev limmiter and just sat there popping off the rev limmiter... i Imeatitly pulled over and poped my hood to see what the **** just happend and i couldnt see anything other than my throdle cable had some extra slack in it. so i started my car and put it in 1st and drove home (about 1/2 a mile) while tearing the **** out of my clutch the whole time. (im pissed) i get home and cant figuar how what the hell the problem is so i take off my intake tube and theres a peice of plastic like rod in my ******* intake manny. lodging the TB open jsut enough to make it rev high fast.

WHAT THE HELL is this and why the **** was it in my throdle body.? is it something that came loose inside of the intake manny. or what? it is all oily and has graphite like substance on it. anything? anybody this is kinda freakin me out... its like someone opend my engine bay up and stuck this in my intake manny.

maybe its the outer edge of the stock filter that broke off or something and got sucked up ur intake track. dod u take ur filter off the tube and look at that?

check to see if your stock air box and/or tube has any damage to it. maybe its road debris that infiltrated your intake system. Co-worker of mine got a huge 14mm bolt lodged in his tire. ya never know...

i re-re-re-read what he said, what did he say wrong? he took off his intake tube, and in the tb was a stick of metal lodged between his throttle body, and part of the metal was in the intake manni, and if you didnt know, the tb and intake manni are connected, so if part is lodged into the tb, then part is in the manni

is it like a spring?
Because STOCK piping usually have a piece of metal that holds the stock piping onto the intake box
that long piece of metal might be that coupler per say

the piece i believe is off the butterfly in your throttle body if you look at how its made there are brackets just like it on there. except when compared to a dollar bill yours seem a little longer. not sure what size our throttle body is

he was referring to the guy above that. and quoted himself.

but maybe it cut through your stock air filter. check and see if it got beaten up at all. you did say the resonator was removed. but other than that i can't think of anything.

also if it was in our butterfly it would have had to come from the intake unless you have a hole in your intake or ghetto filter . but even then no intake can suck that hard to move something like that
