My cousin just swapped a b20 vtech in his hatch civic. my friend wants to run him for roughly a quarter mile, hes sooo sure he will win. he wants to put money on it. Lt1 a4 fbody with a cold air intake. his best 1/4 was 14.4 before the intake.

How much hp is in the b20? and what 1/4 mile should my cousin see? its a manual by the way. thanks.

The hatch will probably win if the kid can drive. Your cousin should see a low 14 probably.

doesnt the 94 hatch civic weigh less than 2000lbs? with 220 hp should that push him into the high 13's? 18 sec 1/4? I drive a diesel and run 15.0, something isnt right then.

- Keep the thread ON TOPIC. If a member asks where the VTECH solenoid is on his or her car, just answer. No you didn't. If you would have posted this in there, you would have gotten eaten alive. Much worse than in here. When he said e-racing, he meant, "who do you think would win in a race with car A vs. car B?" There are so many variables, that I would just rather race and see than ask people which would be faster. Take it to the track and find out. That would be a lot more fun than just talking about it .

Good luck, and I'm sure the hatch will win. From a roll (I know it's gay, but the kid was being gay, so I had to teach him), I beat slightly modded LT1 and my car has a few hundred lbs on the hatch.

Oh, by the way, the kills section is off limits (posting-wise) to trial members, that's why you couldn't post in there. But like I said, I would read some stories from some of the senior members before you post in there unless you want to incite a riot. If you want, pm me and I will show you my first one, or I can show you the stories of some of the real senior members for examples of what they like. They can be a very rough crowd.

this just seems like bullshit to me. I come here asking an honest question about a honda, on a honda forum, and i get flamed. read the damn title. I ask for stats and an estimated 1/4 mile time. I just mention the race in my first post. I hope my cousin will win, I just wanted to get some simple info about the vtec b20 before hand since he hasnt been to the strip yet.

 

Calm down calm down, B20VTEC will do 13s give or take depending on the build; providing other variables eg. driver, air temperature, tires are kept at a constant k.
