gains from new cams and cam gears
It depends on what cams you get. If you simply replace the cam gears and have them set at 0 degrees plus or minus, then it'll perform exactly like stock.
Cam power will depend on what type of cams you get. You can get mild ones, which require no springs/retainers, or really crazy lumpy ones which need springs/retainers.
A mild set of cams with tuned gears will give you around 5-10hp at the wheels. A real wild cam with all the proper headwork and tuned gears can net you anywhere from 10 to almost 30+hp at the wheels.
Guys, help me out there. Do those numbers sound right?
