Ok, I know the solo rules pretty well, everyone in my region turns to me to help class people, but something stumped me. I know this is not a Honda, but what body part on a Porsche 914 (hood or trunk) is ok to replace and stay in SM2. I know that a carbon fiber hood will place a car in street modified, but which is that on a mid/rear engine car. The rule book says "Hoods (engine covers)" Thanks for the help, I know that you guys in the Road Racing/Autocross forum are really helpful.

 

You can replace the engine cover, and that is it.

Trust me, I hear SM2 MR2 owners whining about it all the time when they replace the frunk and get moved into E Mod.
