Can my tires make it through Expo 2002?
As soon as the snow tires come off, I'm considering re-mounting my OEM re010's for one last hurrah at the expo. Can I have some opinions about whether they have enough tread to make it through the expo weekend? The first two pics are the "best" of the set. The third pic is the "worst" pair that would go on the rear. The final pic is one of my Yoko A520's that are my "daily driving tires" that I intended to use to get to and from the expo. Tread willing, they could also pull some duty on the track if needed. I'd like to hear what you guys think are my options.
Thanks Budman for drawing attention to a little chunking on the rears

You have pretty bad camber wear so I don't think you will make the 2 days expo torture. Unless you drive it easy and dont' induce anymore outside wear then you should be fine.
I place the blame for the chunking squarely on WhiteDragon's shoulders. That's what happens to my tires when I try to follow him through the carousel.
Seriously though, I was thinking that I could "flip" the front tires when I mount them on the rims so the chunking is on the inside edge and mostly out of harm's way.

ttt - they still look better then mine....I think I've got enough of this quality left out of the 13 in my basement to make a set
My RE10's are about that low and I seem to still do pretty well AutoXing.
Not sure on the roadcourse...I kinda recommend against it. You might want to invest in some good, new tires.

It's kind of hard to tell just based on the pictures, but when I bought a set of ITR wheels they came with RE-10s with about that much tread. I got two full days of autocrossing out of them on brushed conctete (VERY grippy). You're taking a chance...
Looks like two of them are already down to the treadwear indicator bars. Not much life left at that point.
But if you're willing to switch to your street tires if they are shot, heck - go for it!

buy new tires. it´s worth it... the car is safer and breaks better! My winter tires are pretty worn out, not flat but at least 25% is gone.. as soon as the snow clears I´m gona buy new tires!
