my friend has the exact same tire size on his ej8 coupe and it fits perfect you just need to set the ride height right

This is a recommended fit by Tire Rack. Shouldn't have any rubbing at all.

215 width??? what offset tho? and what wheel width?

on an EM1... wouldn't the rear rub?

i've been told by my local tire/wheel shop that on the EK chassis (EJ, EM, MB) the rears require a +45mm offset and given that with 205 tires is ok... however if using +40mm offset and 205 tires, possibility of rubbing depending on how LOW your car is.

i've had friends who autox and do have their cars about 2" lowered on 15X7 +38mm Kosei K1's using 205 tires and they do rub the fender... so he took out the fender liner and rolled the lip for autox... street he raises his car and throws the fender liner back in.

im not sure what offset the rims are but they are the 16" jdm itr rims. they came with a new set of 215 45 16's on them. i would like to put them on just like that.. the car is probably gonna be lowered about 1.5-2"..
