Default Stupid question

To put a 99 LS motor into a 93 RS, going OBD2 99 to OBD1 93

I just need to change the distributer and alternator from thr 93 on to the 99 motor?? Right???

If you don't want to repin the distributor plug...yes it is easier just use obd 1 distributor. About the alternator they should fit the same unless they change the alternator plug too then you can just use your 93 alternator.

not to mention some sensors on the back of the block are different in the obd1 car... the sensor for the obd2 coolant temp is in the thermo housing instead of in the block on an obd1 car... i sucks.

My 92 GSR coolent temp. sensor is also on the thermostat housing, and it is OBD 1 car.
