Posting up for a friend. The car was stolen in San Diego today (Aug 11) and here are some distinguishing marks on it, including the Captiva Blue painted grills (cause the painted messed up and painted them), and missing the side skirt on the driver side (cause I have it at the shop to get repainted). Here are the license plate number and B18C engine block number and YS1 tranny number....





The car basically has a list of mods, mostly on the exterior and engine bay<FONT COLOR="blue"> HERE FOR DETAILS</FONT> and here are a few pics of how it looked.

FYI, it was on silver Mugen RNR wheels with Sumitomo tires.







I'm sure the car is already stripped & gutted, but I'm putting out the info about the car and block/tranny numbers on it if anybody tries to sell the parts.

Yeah, it sucks. I haven't been able to find out exactly when & where in San Diego it was stolen, but it occurred on Thurs, Aug 11. The guy is pretty upset so I haven't been able to get all of the info yet, but just posting this up to get the word out.

Sorry to hear about that. 2 of my buddies cars were stolen early last week from the South Bay area. One has been found, and there is nothing left!

I hope someone catches these theives. Good luck!

Well San Diego is a crap city for car theft anyways being so close to the border and all..... Gotta have a garage to help prevent theft around here in so cal.... All I can say is "lesson learned" even if it was the hard way... hope he finds a nice new car.

it's gotta be the same bunch of people working the san diego area...being that the racing car scene is so small in san diego, i'm sure somebody knows who has it but they won't tell on the person that took it...

I wonder this myself! With so many cars being taken in such a short period of time. I personally know of 6 ppl that had their cars stolen in the past month, not including myself. And now that you mention it, they occassionally go out to the races to check it out.

Thats the only thing wrong with this city is no one knows each other b/c they sit at home on their *** all the time and not what to do ****. If the car communitty was a lot tighter bonded, then I guarentee this **** wouldnt be going on like this b/c someone would slip and tell the wrong person, and before you know it word would get around about what was going on.
