This is an Ariel Atom made in England. it has a honda motor in it, KA20 (rsx type-s) and hondata ecu. Top Speed=140 but it gets there quick!!

currently there are only 5 in the USA and my dads boss owns this one. It is unlike any other Atom, he is friends with the owner of Ariel which is why it is so custom, such as the cf fenders and gauge pod.

I saw a movie of this car, i think it was posted in gdd on honda-tech. This car destroyed a 600cc bike on a race track. It was like the second fastest car (street legal) that some British mangazine tested, ever. However if you watch the video, it's a pretty harsh ride. The air intakes are located just over the driver's shoulders so you feel a sucking sensation on your face. Furthermore the guy who drives it, they show a close up of his face, and the force it is experiancing warps it in all kind of shapes .

only car that beat it around their roadcourse, was the the ferrari Enzo, and that was close.
(i'm suprized the enzo beat it actually, haha).

youre wrong my friend...that car is completely street legal!!! it has a horn, blinkers, headlights, taillights, backup lights, all the lights. It also registered and will have plates in sept.

its actually just the rsx type-s motor non-superchargered..

he just got this car like a week ago, he had the Atom 1 previously but he upgraded to this for, dual pistion brake calipers, smaller wheels (from 17in. in the front and back---&gt;to-&gt;15in. in the front and 16in. in the back), all the cf goodies and he designed the rollcage

his car does have the type S motor (ka20a2), his was the first one ever to have a honda motor in it! Before that, Ariel put Rover motors in them. It was my dads boss' (Rob is his name) idea to put the honda motor in it with hondata ecu. THis is his second Ariel Atom in which he kept the motor from his previous one and dropped it in this (his new one)

he said they are like $$60,000 but im not sure if that includes the motor or not??


and they will start being sold in the US, they just got the contract ready to go to a guy in Oregon, who ROb sold his last atom to.

Rob in fact, introduced the owner of Ariel to this rich dude in Oregon who is gonna start it up in the US.
