Default here's my story...

ive done many searches but this is my story...its an auto 90 gs...father's lazy mechanic has had possesion of my whip for the better part of the past 4 months- first it was new tires and a bad motor mount, which was replaced and returned only to endure more problems...
suddenly battery light would flicker, then soon enough the power went- june 23 i parked it for an alternator, after six weeks the mechanic got off his *** and replaced it....
that day i drove it and everything was fine- now the 'S' light blinks continuously and its sluggish from a stop...im getting codes 1,2,3,7,8....defective shift, solenoids or whatever, right? is my mechanic throwing me for a ride, or whats really going on?

Sounds shady...

Next time, consider investing in a FSM and a decent tool set. DIY>mechanics.

I can't offer any help w/ the lights and codes. Sorry.

What are the codes??? Each number should be a different problem. If they all seem to be the same area then maybe he cut into a wire harness when fixing something.

You need to get a new mechanic. New motor mounts only take a couple of hours to install, and that is at home with no lift.

codes 1, 2, 3, 7, 8...the symptom is a slow, sluggish start, as if it were starting from 2nd or 3rd gear...

-i agree with finding a new mechanic it took him 6 weeks to do an alternator
