89 CRX, won't start. Starter is ok, so is battery, only clicks when switch is engaged. I think the starter/clutch interlock switch is ok because when is depressed, there is a clicking noise in the fuse box area. Not getting any power to the starter signal fuse. Aloso would like wiring diagram for folding power mirrors. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

noone out there can help me with this? Just trying to get this car going so my 16 year old son can experience the joy of driving a rex.

 

is the starter clicking or the thing under the dash?

That's the main relay. Drivers side, near the hood popper thingy right? Those tend to go bad. Try fixing/replacing that.

(re-soldering all the points usually does the trick)

 

thanks to all. I had a combination of problems including the switch on the clutch not engaging, a loose ground, and the starter solenoid not being connected properly. Everything running now.
I STILL WOULD LIKE TO LEARN how to access the currentforum questions. Ihave not been able to find out how to see what others are asking. I don't have a lot of experience with Hondas, but I have installed a b16a (JDM) into my sons 91 Civic hatch. Rewired from dual to multiport injection, and wired in V-Tech with only help from the internet. Let me know how I can help others, I'm basically a computer illiterate.
