Latest shoot of the 240
Well, it took me a while, but I finally got around to doing another shoot with my 240. I'm not a professional (or even a skilled amateur) by any means, but I do what I can. The rain tried to kill my plans, but I just packed a couple of towels and stuck with the plan. The color of the lights kind of took over the pics, but I made do with what I had, and I'm trying for a sunset shoot in natural light sometime after I get my new wheels. Anyway, here the pics, let me know what you think.

Sorry about some of them being blurry, I'm still getting used to the new cam, and my hands aren't that steady. A tripod might be in order soon if I decide to make this a hobby.

there not that wide
, now on the other hand, a high end corvette, porsche, or gt40 could definately entice me with its rear tire size

Nah, just 235's. But the new rear wheels are 17x9's, so 255's will be coming soon.

Already have Eibach springs and KYB struts. Whiteline swaybars will be here soon. And the offset is where it needs to be for the wheels to be as wide as they are. I'd rather have a better contact patch than a "phat lip"

sorry, didnt really pay attention to your post. Usually when I hear people talk about offset they keep telling me I need some wheels with a deep lip and i generally ignore them. right now I've got 17x8 +35's and I'll be picking up a set of 17x9 +20's for the rear soon. With me still having 4x114 wheels, my options are a pretty limited for offset. I wouldnt even be able to get these new wheels if it werent for SPL getting 5Zigen to custom make them.

I'm not so sure about the new ones. See the 17x9 4x114 wheels were custom made for SPL Parts and are only available in black or bronze. So I have to decide if I want to powdercoat 2 wheels black or 4 gunmetal. And I cant decide. Plus I'm not sure how the car will look with either color.
