will it fit? i know it will look all chubby and stuff.
just sold my 22x8 slicks cause they are too small and im shifting into 5th on the strip.
i have just about worn out my 205/50/14 drag radials and they are a little small, which is why i was looking at the 215/60 cause they will give me a little more height and some more width.

i think the del sol si rims are like 6 inches wides or something

If you are getting tires for the drag strip, you don't want tires that add height (larger outer diameter). That's like getting taller gears. They will hurt acceleration.

 

i know what the larger tires do. i want them because i want a taller tires. i have too much power for the 22's and gsr tranny with an ls redline

they will fit a 6" wheel, i think the del sol has a 5.5" wide wheel not sure on that, but i don't see it being a problem mounting them.

well it does work. looks a little funny, like my car is going up hill cause the fronts are taller than the rear. but it works. i ran a 12.82 at 109 with a 2.001 60' running in 4th gear at like 7300 rpm going through the trap. before on the 22in slicks i could only muster a 12.85 with like a 1.8x 60' cause i was going into 5th.
