Default CF hood repair question.

Last night I had a little problem with my cf hood. My friend said the hood was latched and I took his word and did not stop to make sure. Well as I am sure you can guess it was not latched and came up and broke the skeleton from the hood. I do not have time to buy a new hood before the race on Saturday. My two thoughts on how to fix it are. Refiberglass it to the skeleton which may take a long time or buy the body panel glue forget the name of it. But it is the glue that is in two tubes. My dad and I use it on the vettes. Will that glue work and hold enough for the race on Saturday? I am assuming it will just want to double check. Or will fiber glassing it be better?

I would sand it and lay a couple layers of fiberglass matt over it. It wont take a few minutes to repair it. Trust me

Just using a simple two part resin will bond the structure to the back of the hood. Just scuff it up a bit to give the resin some ability to bite.

I got this body panel glue I believe it is called. It has two tubes and you use a specail gun to push it apply it. The **** sets up in 50 seconds. I put that on and the hood is as good as new. Now if I can only figure out how to get the crap off my hand and fingers.

Tried acetone, gas, laquor (sp) thinner, carb cleaner, all those chemicals and it did not even melt my skin off. But seriouly I was picking at it with a metal pick trying to get it off and it would just pull my skin off.
